RunVerified is a running platform where verified runners earn real money. Three layers, all working together.
The Running Index
Every verified runner gets a public 0–100 skill rating. We call it your Running Index.
When you sign up, you can connect Strava, upload your training history, or start fresh. Our AI analyzes your pace, consistency, distance, and progression to assign your starting Index. From there, it updates with every verified run.
The Index is your identity on the platform. It determines which competitions you're matched into, which sponsored challenges you can enter, and which earning tiers you unlock. The same way a chess Elo rating defines a player's skill level, your Running Index defines yours — and it's been calibrated by AI from your real running history, not your self-assessment.
Monthly commitments
Every month, you set a commitment calibrated to your level. Three options:
- Maintain — hold your current Index. Lower stake, easier to hit.
- Progress — climb toward the next tier. Recommended option, best risk/reward.
- Push — for when you mean it. Big stake, big bonus.
You stake a small amount when you set the goal. Hit it, your stake comes back plus a bonus. Miss it, your stake supports the prize pool that funds achievers.
This isn't gambling. It's a service rebate model — you're paying for a subscription, and high performance earns you a partial refund plus a bonus on top. The same legal structure as a gym discount for showing up regularly, just with verifiable proof of effort.
Three earning streams
Once your Pro subscription is active and your verification is complete, you can earn from three sources at the same time:
Index-matched competitions.Race other runners at your skill level. We auto-handicap based on Index difference, so it's always pure skill, never luck. Both runners stake an amount, winner takes the pot minus our 15% fee.
Sponsored challenges. Every month, brands fund prize pools for runners in specific Index tiers. Top finishers split the pool. A typical month has 3–5 sponsored challenges across tiers, with prize pools from €500 to €5,000.
Gear cashback and referrals. Buy from partner stores through the app, get 5–8% back as in-app credit. Refer friends who become active subscribers — earn €2/month per referral, every month they stay active.
A typical "regular" runner stacks all three streams plus their commitment refunds and clears €70–€150 in monthly net profit. Top runners exceed €2,000 per year.
Why verification matters
Every euro paid out comes from real subscribers. If even 5% of users fake their runs, the entire economic model breaks for honest runners.
That's why every Pro subscriber is required to be a Verified Runner. We use GPS, motion sensors, optional heart rate, and occasional spot-check selfies on high-value runs. We're transparent about what we collect and why — see our verification page for details.
When does it launch?
Bulgaria public launch in Q3 2026. Romania a few months later. Closed beta begins in Q2 2026 with founding waitlist members.
